Corporations have the money, the lawyers, the HR team, and the power to shape the story.
So tell me why you should be doing this alone.
When Your Seat Feels at Risk,
You Don’t Need “Coaching.”
You Need a Strategic Exit Advisor.
Corporate Exit Advisor is for senior leaders who can feel the political weather changing and want to protect their power, peace, and next chapter before the situation becomes a crisis.
You’re not being paranoid. That feeling is data.
Responsibilities are quietly moving to someone else.
The meetings you used to lead are happening without you.
Your scope shrinks, but people are acting like it’s not happening.
Feedback gets vague. Expectations get slippery.
You’re suddenly “too much”… or somehow “not enough.”
You’re not imagining it. Something is shifting and it’s smart to treat that as real. Because when the system decides you’re expendable, it doesn’t just push you out, it tries to rewrite what’s happening so you look like the problem.
This is the moment to get strategic.
Not later when you’re already reacting.
Why “going it alone” is a trap
Too many senior leaders walk through this alone. Maybe you talk to an attorney, but at this stage, an attorney often can’t do much yet. Not because they aren’t good, because the system hasn’t shown its cards. There’s nothing “official” to respond to.
But you still need someone who understands what’s really happening:
A power imbalance where the company has:
-
HR
-
Legal
-
Risk management
-
Internal narrative control
…and you have what, exactly?
Your intuition. Your receipts (if you have them). And your nervous system trying not to overcook.
And if you’re a BIPOC leader, that imbalance often comes with an extra layer of bias, optics, and a story that gets written about you before you ever get to speak.
This is where most people make the mistake that costs them leverage. They either freeze, panic, or signal too soon, and suddenly the company knows you know.
What if instead you had someone steady in your corner. Someone who can walk with you through the ambiguity, help you document clearly, assess what’s happening, and make decisions from truth instead of overwhelm?

That’s why Corporate Exit Advisor exists.
I’ve been where you’ve been. I’ve lived the moment when the ground shifts and the system expects you to quietly cooperate with an ending you didn’t choose.
I’ve been through layoffs–one I saw coming and one I didn’t. And what made me feral wasn’t the exit itself. It was being placed in a position where I had to navigate it alone–where I was pressured to surrender my agency to someone else’s timeline, someone else’s version of events, someone else’s story.
I refuse to leave people alone in that moment.
Especially not when the corporation has the resources to manage you out and manage the narrative on the way out.
Corporate Exit Advisor is for the leader who wants to:
-
Stay strategic without losing their humanity
-
Protect their reputation and their nervous system,
-
Preserve leverage before paperwork arrives
-
Exit with dignity and owning their own story
You don’t need someone to “fix” you or coach you. You need someone steady who helps you think clearly through the emotions, move strategically, and keep your power. So when you make your exit (or your next right move), you do it feeling whole, proud, and in full ownership of your narrative.
Hi, I’m Ming.
I’m your Corporate Exit Advisor.
I got into coaching because I couldn’t stop paying attention to the human part of work–the identity shifts, the quiet pressure, the way brilliant people start shrinking to survive systems that were never built to hold them. After 20+ years in tech, I saw the same pattern over and over–leaders, especially BIPOC leaders, doing everything “right,” and still getting caught in politics, power shifts, and exits that felt confusing and destabilizing.
Over time, I realized that in these moments, traditional coaching can be supportive, but it’s often not enough. When the stakes are high, you don’t just need reflection. You need strategy. You need timing. You need someone calm and precise who can help you turn the unnameable thing into a clear plan, without losing yourself in the process.
What really drives me is undoing the pattern–especially for BIPOC leaders–of being set up, sidelined, and then rewritten as the problem. I built this work to interrupt that cycle with clarity, strategy, and protection.

Corporate Exit Advisor is strategic, prescriptive support for senior leaders who sense they’re being pushed out, before it becomes official. You get calm guidance on timing, documentation, leverage, and narrative control, so you can make your next move with dignity and power intact.
What do you get in the Corporate Exit Advisor?

WHO THIS IS FOR
This is for you if:
-
You can feel the signals stacking up and want to get strategic before anything becomes official
-
You suspect you’re being pushed out politically or through restructuring
-
You want to protect your reputation, leverage, and next move without spiraling
-
You’re ready for strategy + timing, not just emotional processing
WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
This is not designed to hold the full weight of cases involving harassment, assault, severe power abuses, or legally complex settlement dynamics that may shape long-term career trajectory.
If you’re navigating something in that category, this can still be a starting point, but it is NOT sufficient containment on its own. Those situations are often more vulnerable, more legally complex, and more emotionally fragile than a political pushout or restructuring scenario, and higher-touch, specialized support is warranted (including legal counsel and trauma-informed care when appropriate).
This isn’t about excluding anyone. It’s about being honest about what this product can and can’t hold.
If this situation involves harassment/assault or complex settlement dynamics, I’ll tell you directly what level of support you need, because I’m not here to take your money and under-serve you.
What if I’ve received a PIP or notice of impending layoff?
Can I still use Corporate Exit Advisor?
Absolutely. In the case of receiving a PIP or notice of impending or imminent layoff, we’ll go straight to triaging to protect your leverage and build a clear 72‑hour plan–what to document, what not to sign, what to say (and not say), and which decisions need legal counsel before you respond.

“Is this legal advice?” (No; educational + strategy; encourage counsel)
-
“What if I’m already emotional / overwhelmed?” (That’s the point; triage + steadiness first)
-
“What if nothing’s official yet?” (Early-stage is ideal; Signal Spotter + Ally Audit + contingency)
-
“What if I need more support after the consult?” (If you need higher-touch support, I’ll tell you what would be appropriate next.)
